What is Meditation?

There isn’t a consensus as to the definition of meditation, however, many sources state that meditation is an awareness, a process to calm our minds; a training of the mind to develop clarity and concentration.  Meditation does not need to be connected to religion or spirituality.  It is simply a way to inner peace.

It is easy to get started.  Find a quiet place.  Get comfortable.  Close your eyes.  Try to clear your mind as best you can – it takes practice.  Eventually, you’ll be able to meditate during hectic moments.

Relax your body.  Liberate your mind.  Replenish your soul.
